Facelift!

Wow, was our deck in need of a major facelift or what? The red stain and huge brass light never grew on me. We debated replacing the whole thing (~$400). We would have shrunk the deck, wrapping it with stairs and would have waited until next summer to add a patio off of it. Therefore, we would have had a smaller deck and no patio for $400 this summer. Nah! Instead we opted to give a facelift a try to salvage our current deck. So we hit up Sherwin Williams 40% off paint and stain sale for a gallon of stain and a quart of paint (~$40). We love Sherwin Williams!

Room Scenes Update

Nothing came out of my offer for design advice and room scenes but I will continue to occasionally post changes we make to our home.  Again, these are typically done on a budget and we do all the work ourselves.  We never do anything elaborate or expensive but it is enough for us to make updates and freshen things up a bit!
